manual for indoor, aperture priority for outdoor day, shutter priority for panning pictures.

generally manual i guess. i find the aperture priority not really reliable when im shooting though. i have to +1/3 or 2/3 cos it tends to underexpose my pictures in harsh lighting.

Wow... I am surprised that M mode is a strong 2nd, with S and P mode trailing far behind...

So not many people in CS fancy P and S mode? Hmmm... I wonder why... My personal usage is something like:

    P mode - 15%
    S mode - 10%
    A mode - 50%
    M mode - 25%

I take a few shots if I have the chance.

P Mode ass a first shot. And then I adjust in manual mode on what I think is better. With digital photography, my priority is getting the pics and chances are better when I shoot more.

    Aperture mode for me.

Manual mode, when I have the time to fiddle and figure out the settings.

Shutter mode only for sports, or fast motion things.

On top of the ones mentioned by others, I also use Manual sometimes for night flash photography. And nothing but M mode, Manual WB and Manual focus for all long exposure night shots.

A mode for most daylight shots. I seldom do S mode. P mode I used to use, but now no longer using it.
