A very late introduction
Hi everyone,
I feel like I've known some of you for a very long time even though this is my first post, not sure when I actually starting visiting this forum but probably not very long after purchasing my first dSLR the *ist DS in 2004. This forum is a daily routine for me for the obvious reason of being a newbie to dSLR & a pentax user, however it's got something I like even more which I can't find in other pentax forums, a Singaporean flare. I cherish that very much since migrating to the US in the late 90s, yes I'm an "old" guy picking up photography late in life. I recently decided to go to a full frame camera and that took time away from visiting this forum. That's when I realised I missed you guys and prompted me to write this very late introduction. J |

In the meantime, perhaps you can consider the K200D as your second grab-and-go camera?

Hi airconvent,
Thanks for the welcome back, that means a lot to me. As for being a full fledge member of THE rebellion, it's sort of strange to be "sleeping with the enemy" at the same time. For now, I'm just having a ball with either camera system. I'm keeping my *istDs, can't justifying getting more gears, but will keep the k200d in mind. J |
