Default 12MN @ Lower Peirce

Hi All,

Went to Lower peirce last weekend @12MN, the place became quite spooky as no one there at that time .
Anyway C&C most welcome, as i'm interested in doing more night photography.

PS: I use ISO 250 for this pics, since i don't have cable lock for 30sec+ exposure, so please bear with the noise

I kinda the like the sky colour. The sky can look very interesting when late in the night.
But I think the white balance for the hut is way off. Yes it's spooky because fluorescent lamp turned blue in your pic. Also, can try adding some rocks etc at the bottom of the pic, make it more concise.

Very nice. I was there a couple of times and took one picture with filter to bright up the area. There are both sunset and night pictures.

Well, you can try it again on a full moon and cloudless night as the sky will be illuminated by the moonlight. Try setting yr WB to Tungsten, so as to attain a beautiful blue color sky. As for the lamp light under that shed, I'm not too sure what kinda light source - fluorescent or tungsten? As in yr foto, it has a green cast, so I assume it's fluorescent light.

For night photography like this, no single shots is a success on the first try. That depends on yr own self criticism and creativity. If it doesn't succeed, go back and do it again until you get the result you wanted. This is pre-visualization which is important as part of the photography creative process.

So good luck and have fun!
