Default "Film Leader left out" option for Nikon cameras

heard that this procedure can be done at Nikon Singapore? anyone done it b4?

i did

have to bring down to shiro house, nikon and it can be done in 15 mins or so.

It's leaving out a bit of film on rewind (so the film is like when you load it ...)

I had an F4s done to leave the leader out, however it's not something I recommend, far better is a film picker.

Guess this is something you want when you need to use two different types of film on one camera.

Did it for F80 and was free. U can ask for other models. Find it useful as I do swop films. But have to be careful as you can mistake this for a fresh roll. Both my nikons are programmed for film lead out, so made it a habit to roll in the film lead after taking out from body after completion of roll.

But should record down the number of exposures taken...

Do u mean not good to modify for the F4s? Was that free for the modification?
