That thing cost a bomb, you sure it worth the $$?
Battery life may not last too..

the battery in the attachment only power the wft-E3. if camera battery runs low, got to unscrew the wft-e3 in order to change battery. quite troublesome.

yeah i realise its kinda ex...but i think it'll be useful for my business..
well hopefully it is..or it better be..dunno leh..still thinking abt it.. just did a search in google..ebay sg is selling for $1200,,,damnnn...so ex.. hmmm....i'm starting out an aerial photography business using giant balloons.. and attaching the camera below the balloon. i was thinking of using the wft e3.. when i do not need to fly the balloon too high..like 10-50M high... i think the wft can handle it right..?? for reference to pics taken in the air..http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=390811 some of the pics i took in bali..few days ago..

why not use remote control planes instead!!! they make triggers activated by the remote control unit and you can attach it to a P&S camera!! still aerial photography!!

Yes, however cables is not an option as it will fly up quite high. Therefore, i'm opting for wireless solution. Currently i'm using those kind of wireless camera that uses certain frequency to transmit the live view image of my 40D to a monitor on the gorund. However, i thought i can use the wft-e3 for less high height (eg 10-20M). Well remote control planes can't stay afloat..needs to be moved around(if i'm not wrong). Mine is stationery, won't move one. but i have a mechanism that allows the camera to turn 360 degrees to take panoramic shots. And yes all is done with remote control.

if you want to be stationary go talk to heli flyers.......they can make it stationary. Rotor Hobby is a good place to start
