I think it's product testing and taking sample pics for the prochure, etc. I think for the A700 they were spotted in Sydney.

well, the full frame premium will not come cheap. besides, some people actually prefer the crop factor

hmm.. who here has planned to straight away switch to the a900 from the a700? of course, you'd probably have a guesstimate on the price, right?

Well, if you're dead set on getting an A700, best bet is to get one cheap from the USA, or wait till the end of this year when a lot of A700 users will be biting the bullet and taking that step up to the A900. Then watch the marketplace get flooded with cheap A700 units.

I may be biting the bullet... haha, I'm a portrait photographer, so crop factor doesn't help... so I've been waiting for a full frame.

Money is hard these day as prices of oil going up. A900 is good to have for most. Those who have lots of money and no where to spent, by all means get it. Also those who needs for their work like product, landscape and architecture. As for portraiture....... unless ones needs to enlarge to 5 story high prints.........
