Imitation

Hi all!

I am just wondering,

Is there such a thing as imitation cameras?
(not wannabes, but real fakes)

As in the camera says canon A70 or Nikon Coolpix or whatever.....

But it is actually a lousy piece of contraption made in XYZ country where kids are forced to work for a very low pay.

If there are such products, how can we tell just by looking?

I seriously doubt that there are fake digital cams. To build and assemble whatever makeshift cameras alone requires more than kids in a sweatshop.

And once you handle it, you will know what it is. This is not like Nike sneakers or Ocean brand toothpaste packaged to look like Oral-B.
