Eh bro... not bad.. very sharp... Think we need to work on the control of the harsh lightings.. diffuser time!! Man.. am impress with the details on #3... and #4 I still find it very very mood, but a bit clearer on the eyes will be greato. Okie.. battery flat now.. time to hit bed!

Nice, sharp and clean macros bro. One complaint only which falconite brought up is the flash. Diffuser required or u can use sprintist DIY bounce card to bounce the flash

Airforce1 also advised on the use too. Actually did use tissue to soften the lights, but the image came out very dark on my lcd so I thought it was not giving enough lights, but I will try and modify a reflector card on top of the diffuser which I am using, but I am pointing the flash directly at the subject. With the reflector card, I can bounce it up as suggested by Airforce1 and Falconite. Will try approach again next week with you all. Happy to learn more so C&C welcome as this is my first experience with macro lens. Thanks

Night Macro. This is how I do it.
Iso 100. F16 @1/60 secs ( Fix exposure so no need to meddle anymore ) Centre weighted metering. Flash 45 degrees bounce with tissue papers inside the diffuser. Try to have background of green leaves. Cut out the night/dark background. Watchout the eyes, Eye must be the focal point. Trust your exposure and skills. What else must do/modify to get good pictures. 1. Buy a cupboard led light ($8.00) and stick on the flash. so can have constant light to focus. 2. Use of paper as bounced card. 3. Come closer so that your flash illuminations is at the brightest on the subject. 4. Watch out harsh lighting and shadows. __________________ |
