Dear fellow CSers,
I'm going to get the Zeiss ZA Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm f/2.8 SSM & Zeiss ZA Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8. I personally tried the Zeiss ZA Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 before, the build is tough & solid. Focus is fast & quiet but when mounted on the A350 makes the front really really heavy. Hence a bit unbalance.. While for the Zeiss ZA Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm f/2.8 SSM, have not tried it before.. Will like to hear feedbacks of current users of these Lens if it's worth the $$. ![]()

I think the added MP of a350 really deserves something better than the kit lens.
I was looking at the CZ 16-80 initially but it was not a full frame lens, hence, I went straight to the 24-70. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have the 1680 and the 85/1.4.
The 1680 is so-so only. Disappointing build quality, considering the price. The 85 on the other hand, is a class act. Well worth the money. (p.s. I am not referring to S'pore retail prices, though.)

I acquired a Zeiss ZA Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 recently and it quickly became one of my favourite lenses. Some pics with the lens, all without post-processing, only resized for web:

Absolutely worth it. Try asking the Canon users if their L lenses are worth it. You'll get the same reply.
