New flagship flash from SONY... is this the one we've been waiting for? I find the 5600HS a bit wonky (or quite wonky) for my 7D... maybe we'll get competitive flash photography now...

ever susepct the flash all along is not optismised for the 7D ? since it go way back to the film era

It's not that the flash was not optimised for the 7D... it's the flash exposure protocol that was not updated to take into account the more reflective sensor surface and the lack of true TTL control which resulted in the pre-flash which gave very variable results...
