Can Sigma EF500 DG Super do HSS on K100D Super?

Question as above. I also read something about the Sigma flash requiring re-chipping. Does it affect K100D Super? How do I check if it has already been rechipped? Thanks in advance!

The flash needs to be re-chipped to work well on K100D, so I assume it needs to be re-chipped too to work on K100D Super

Why not just get the EF530 DG instead? It's not too expensive anyway ...

Actually I have the EF500 already but not sure how to get HSS to work
still seems to cap at 1/180 when doing fill flash outdoor

IIRC it can do P-TTL HSS. So u'll need to set it to P-TTL HSS (refer to manual) then use Av mode on camera.
