photocd from slides

greetings all,

recently i took a roll of velvia, sent it in for process, mounting and also save softcopy on a cd.

the slides look quite ok but the pictures on the cd looks less sharp and the colour is a little funny, the resolution is 1280 by xxx if im not wrong.

to verify, will i get better pictures if i were to buy a good film scanner and scan the slides myself?

you will always need fine adjustment ... even when you use your own film scanner. There is a lot of work to be put in for every different film ...

i got everything done at colour lab......
