Default The Great CBD Lockdown! How do you plan to cope?

Well, yes the news is out today frontpage ST.

For me, my once a week evening hangout at Funan Centre will cost me $1 more. No big deal. Ain't gonna change my lifestyle for $1.

How are the rest of us coping?

The ERP fee is still so affordable, nobody cares the fee, right now CBD traffic is just maddness in rush hours. Maybe LTA should build hugh parking lots outside CBD so ppl can park their cars and ride the bus in.

I agree, that's why CBD area is still so congested.

Maybe it's time to make drivers feel the pinch.

    Wow, that's London rates!

But yeah, at that rate, there will definitely be a notable drop in traffic.

Or borrow the COE concept, let ppl bid for the ERP usage fee and set up a maximum quota for cars allowed to enter CBD,

I wonder if there would be mobile erp points in the future. Where there is congestion, erp squat comes to the rescue. Mobile squat can retire early, balek station and play PS2. This should solve all the problems with NDP congestion, accident congestion, depavili congestion, hari raya congestion, christmas congestion, cny congestion, exhibition congestion and any other cause for unforeseen congestion which the safety net failed to catch.

We are like a fishes swimming in a big pond. They catch us again and again, only to have more fun by putting us back into a the same pond.
