Ya but i feel we still hv not nailed it... too many variations. Not like using velvia 50, so much easier...
Thanks mate! Thanks! I like them too! I just acquired the sea&sea MDX housing for the Nikon D3. Not very happy coz some functions are not working at different depths. lighting i use twin ikeilte DS125 and a Hartenberger tube lamp for focussing purposes. Am still getting used to nailing the right colours for each different scenes.... so its like learning to use the camera again... For the macro, i shoot with the 105 VR and for WA i use the 17-35. hope this answers your query. ![]() |

![]() Seriously though, do you use bouyancy arms? Cos with your setup and twin DS-125.. man I'm already sinking like a rock with single DS-125! |

No I use the normal arms. The buoyancy arms are too cumbersome. My total set up is abt 8kg if i use the 105. Gets heavier when i put on the X2. What we do is to attach one of those aluminum bottles to help with the buoyancy. It does help esp when you do like 90min dives... Whatever you do, dont get rid of the DS125. I feel its got the best colours underwater and believe me, ive tried alot of strobes... great for slides and so far pretty close to natural colours for digital too... Thanks! Yes, I did crop 1 or 2 but thats it. |

WoW! Tweak a little bit more in PS, you might get your velvia look.

did you use any diopters or extension tubes for the macro shots?
yes, i can imagine digital having a very different workflow from film! a lot more effort needed in post |
