Hell yeah. I took the kids out for the weekend and used a familiar lens, the Panaleica 14-50. The OOC jpegs at low ISO look exactly like the E3.

Sorry. I never owned the 510. But it certainly is better than the E3.

It's nice and light. I might not have bothered with the E3 if the 520 walked up and said hi first. I bought mine in Tokyo two weeks ago. It's to tide me over until Olympus finish calibrating my E3, we'll part our ways when that day comes. ![]() |

What happen to your E3? Different sensor producing the same quality of image ...... fishy. Last edited by cater; 18th June 2008 at 02:35 AM. |

Fishy...but nice, especially for a camera that came at less than half the price with a lens. |

Not really fishy if you realised that the sensor used in the E420/520 is the same one used in the E3. ![]()

Hmmm. I did a quick google and found no rumours about the E3 and 420/520 using the same sensor. |

It's not a rumour. I was told by someone very high up in Olympus Singapore. ![]()

You can't get the 25mm even in Tokyo. I checked with Yodobashi and the waiting time is at least one month. |

Does that mean that they have solved your front focussing problem with the Leica 25mm lens?
