Macro Stuff for c5050

hi,
I am someone new to photography and like taking nature shots esp flowers n plants. Any idea how i can enhance my macro shots with my c5050? E.g Filters , Flashes ETc.

how about a tripod?

But 5050 already has super macro mode ... is it necessary to get a close-up filter?
