Nice coverage, but it would be better without the heads of audience.

Hey Thanks!
I know...
But thats not the audience, thats the band.. Cause at that place we dun have a pit, thats why the band would get in the way...
Tried cropping them away, but for some of the pics, it felt and looked weird, thats why bo pian have to leave it as it is...
If u dun mind me asking, any general comments?( i noe that there are alot of pics)
any favourite picture?

The only way to address that is to try shooting from a higher vantage. Most of your shots seem to be almost 'level' with the stage, aka, at the back of the lower gallery. The auditorium offers several quite elevated angles, and a 'circle' gallery...

but i dun have a telephoto lens....
And mainly i used my prime so that when wide open, i can use a higher shutter speed to reduce handshake... so i have to get in close and level with the stage...

Yeah...that would be a problem.

At least you know how to overcome similar shooting problems the next time you shoot a similar project/assignment. If it's for the group, consider requesting for a small amount of funds to rent pro-grade high speed teles or high speed IS/VR tele zoom lenses. A top-notch 200mm f/2.8 or 70/80-200 f/2.8 with IS or VR should not cost more than S$30-40/per day rental or even cheaper for students.

CHEERS!
