    Hi labla,

    Since you didn't include a request on what you want to achieve by posting, I'll assume that you'd want to improve on the impact of the photo. Sorry if I've misread this.

    Just a suggestion: if you have Photoshop, decrease the Saturation till it's 0%, adjust Level till the shadow is really black (don't worry if the overall looked a bit too dark at this point), then adjust the Shadow and Highlight (shadow at 20-30%). Once you're done, burn the sun a bit to remove the over exposure.
    If you're feeling adventurous, you can use the Channel Mixer and nudge the Red by 10% upwards (Preset: Custom, Output Channel: red). Or, you can use a Sepia Filter.

    The above is just an alternative to boost extra life into a moderate colour photo into a BW that has a sentimental touch.
