Default Where To Buy "PUTU MAYAM" (East Coast)?

As the title suggests, where is the nearest place to get Putu Mayam (with orange sugar ) if staying at Marine Parade?

Original puttu mayam have freshly grated coconut and palm sugar (gula melaka). Using orange sugar is a cheap substitute that adulterates the original.

There's a malay stall at The Banquet in Parkway Parade on the same level as Giant Supermarket that sells putu mayam with orange sugar. Not too bad.

that's right. nothing beats eating putu mayam with grated coconut and gula melaka

i'll make an effort to eat it when i'm in penang. will never eat those with orange-colored sugar found in SG.
