Default Screw in Self-Timer still have?

Hi guys,

Don't quite understand why but my R3A doesn't have a self timer (as compared to my old Bessa R).

I was wondering if there's anywhere/anyone that still sells those old screw in self timers? Screw in onto the shutter release, then it pushes it down when the time is up.

Thanks!
Erv.

Perhaps I should get a few back. Recall seeing it a few days ago in some of the shops. Got mine from ebay for US25.

Cheers,

It can't possibly work on manual cameras right? They need a physical pin to push down and activate the shutter leh...

Mine was the "Kaiser" mechanical self-timer I bought many years ago for my M6s. Still available online in the UK if you search. It looks like this:

try this website:http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/cat.as...er+Accessories

Mine is made in Japan, maybe you can find some in Japan. It gives a mechanical winding sound, no battery needed. Very nostalgic:-)
