    imagine your 105mm (if there is VR), cost 1200.... I can buy 2 or 1.5 prime lenses leh....

    photography is expensive... but the memories are priceless..

    my 105 has been used to take thousands of images, which makes it worth the money


    btw it is also a prime lens you know
    a 600 f4 is also a prime lens

    Ya i know... but you are getting to far now... you are saying more and more exp stuffs...

    I think i did not phrase properly... i mean... your 105 prime is too exp... i can buy 1.5 or 2 3rd party prime lenses....

    nothing beats the real thing lah...

    Nikon body + Nikon Lens = Canon body + Canon L lens

    Canon body >> Tamron/Sigma/Tokina Lens << Nikon Body = Just dun feel rite... lol...

    and best is with a manfrotto quick release plate, really must ask... how to shoot long exposure?

    In actual fact, the 'pariah' or common street mongrel is a much hardier, more resilient and survival smarts creature than any 'pure-breed', often posessing better gene mix, and capable of superior intelligence (which is why no or hardly any professional dog trainer would ever take on the challenge of training an exhibition 'pariah' dog - not impossible, but takes too much effort [therefore less ROI] for the same time investment).

    The cure is to get the "right" camera and lenses. So u wont need to keep changing and regretting

    for me, I stopped buying after i got my Canon 1DMKII with 3 x L lenses, i dont see the needs to upgrade anymore
    We are HDD of PC & FT are MB add to storage;
    so PC never hangs with enormous storage capacity - LKY

    you of all people should know that technology changes very quickly
    don't bluff lah, buying the right camera is just a temporary cure

    unless you go back to film ... large format ...

    Actually, the same can be applied for natural gene selection and survival of the fittest without human intervention.
