I dun use eyecup now. Also fell off. It seems fine totally without the cup. Maybe because I wear glasses. In fact, I think I see better without cup. Hahah...me E3 going to Switzerland with me without eye cup.

I bought 1 piece 2-3 weeks ago...
$32.10(w GST) @ Oly SC The model is EP-7(the same original one that comes with E3) Before that I checked with MSC, they say must order. Didn't check with CP though. Last edited by Khair76; 13th June 2008 at 02:55 PM. |

The Oly guy suggested using glue similar to wat he did. Now, why do i wanna tarnish the body of the E3???

Dude, am not sure if is the same eyecup as i am thinkin....but i got mine for my E510 body for only S$12.00 at the olympus HQ! Although am worry on the "made in china" statement on the packaging.
Don't use glue, use blue tag! I use blue tag for my eyepiece slot part. Works good! |

I did tell the Oly fella bout it... They said, if it still slips off easily, go back to service centre and let them check. Could be the eyecup or the slot @ the body itself... I've not gone back to them yet as I wanna compare mine with other E3 around... My 'easy to slip off' could be a normal condition in all E3's... Just that I'm too sensitive about it... |

From new, the eye cup of my E-3 also is quite loose. Sometimes it drops out when my camera body brush against my body when i put it down (with the neck sling on me.)

Sorry to bump this thread.
Finally lost my E-3 eyepiece. LOL. Should I get the E-3 eyepiece from Olympus or where can I find a cheaper one? Feels pretty naked without it. ![]()

I got all my eyecups from eBay.
The E3 uses the EP-7 but you may want to try the EP-6 as well. I got my EP-7 from eBay for about S$50 including shipping. I can sell you my original EP-5 eyecup for S$30 if you like. It's the one that comes with the E400 and E500 series of cameras. Brand new, never used. PM me if you're keen okie ![]()
