Well, the Canon 450d price was $100 less than everywhere else on the net. A bit suspicious, I figured I'd give it a shot; ordered, got an e-mail saying to call 1-800-927-0973 Extension 281 "For verification purposes."

Called, no answer, left message. Got call back 5 hours later, super pushy new yorker (probably early 20s) salesman. Convinced me to get 2 extra batteries and charger. When I decided to just get a 4gb SD card instead of the batteries, he said I was wasting his time.

After about 10 minutes of his talking and talking and offering this and that - I finally asked if he wanted to just sell the Canon 450d for $792.00 as stated on the web site. He said, "Sorry, that camera just became unavailable." Hung up.

I immediately called AMEX to warn them to watch for suspicious behavior and I gave them the company name as an extra precaution.

Back from PC Show, the bundle deal there for K20D is $2599 for dual kit.
The brochure didn't mention which kit lens it comes with and I didn't stop to ask.
And the bundle is... a little odd...
1) DA50-200mm
2) 2x 2GB SD cards...
3) Tamrac bag (looks like Velocity 3, but dunno if it is Velocity 3 is a good bag though)
4) Tripod
5) Screen protector
6) Lithium battery
7) 2x Singapore Flyer tickets
8) AA Rechargeable kit???

At least not tucked away in the back like the previous shows.
But I didn't see any models when I was there.

I encountered before. They say this date, that day come call they say tomorrow. Next day call again say haven't come in.

Now i just get elsewhere if they don't have stocks.
