Description:
Among the XA series of the Olympus, this is one of the more desired camera along with the XA4. This is also ONLY the true Rangefinder among the XA series, rest are of XA are zone focus. The XA is a tiny 35/2.8 RF coupled electronically shuttered Aperture priority Automatic Exposure camera.

It has a six element five group 35/2.8 lens unique design. The XA is more compact than the Rollei 35, yet it includes automatic exposure and a rangefinder. The bright brightline Albada finder has parallax correction marks. Focusing is from 2.8 feet to infinity. Even though the finder indicates shutter speeds between 1 to 1/500, the XA's shutter will actually go down as low as 10 seconds! It uses a super smooth electromagnetic shutter release. Built in extras include a self timer, a battery check, and tripod mount.

Everything works fine from the flash to the shutter speed. Shutter door closes and opens smooth and focusing is smooth as well.

Normally commanding over $120, there are 2 things that make it $75. The 2 things that prevent it from being a complete wholesome camera are the wear on the side of the A11 flash unit and some light haze or fungus on the side of the lens.
1. batt check is okay
2. coating of camera is good
3. rear lens is very clean
4. exterior of body is at least a 9 condition

Loaded with flash battery for the flash and 2 new batteries for the XA itself. A handy strap is attached. Please scrutinize the pics. Thanks.

BTW, the flash takes only one AA size battery and is the 2nd most powerful of the A series flash for the XA.

Sorry guys and gals, especially earnesboy,

Camera was reserved yesterday by a nice chap from Malaysia. Hopefully he turns up this evening. If not, it will go to the second person who pm/ed me yesterday.

Its priced at $75 for a reason, the slight fungus on the front element but yet I received quite a few PMs asking me how much to do the repair, can I guarrantee the pictures will come out fine and some asking me for the pictures taken with this camera. Honestly, we could have simply send in to the repair guy and serviced it to sell for 100 plus or we could do it ourselves but run risk of misaligning the rangefinder. To save all the trouble, we just offered as it is.
