I dunno but i find this a norm for photographers that they do not like being in photos :P finding out here :P
If I am directing the shot, the framing, and all the person does is press the trigger, then yes
I like to take photo for others not really myself. sometime yes, out of 100 shot i took, maybe only 2 shot is myself in the picture.
Life is like Photography, to improve, you have to keep shooting!
I'm always not in the photos with my friends,
That's why i bought a IR remote trigger! =D
yes, i do alot with my handphone and on tripod shots.
When I smile, I look bad So by being the one holding the cam, I don't nid to smile
The best things in life are free.
Back in those days when I was running 10km daily for fun and drinking protein shakes like water, yes.
now no !!
if i look yandao then i like the photo
dont like being in photos.
the others tend to have more handshakes and stuff, bad lighting, harsh flash.
i'll only be in photo using my camera. after i've set the settings.
then again, sometimes framing quite bad la.
too much headroom, cutting of limbs and arms, etc.
i'm only in like 1% of all the photos i've taken. LOL.
Aiyoh.. I also not God of Gamblers.. Just let people take lor..
When I do right, no one remembers. When I do wrong, no one ever forgets.
My main objective in photography is to take photos of the many moments in life that we can looked back and cherish, therfore I believe being in the shot matters alot, this is especially so in travel. Most of the time, I take potraits of my wife or family members, but me being missing in the photos makes it rather incomplete. Just imagine you take a photo of eiffel tower, and you are not in it. In some ways, being in it not only shows that you actually been there, it also captures your emotions.
But I dont really like letting strangers handle my SLR as they may not be familiar with its functions, composition and framing. Thats why I got a travel tripod (Manfrotto) as well as a remote control. It has served me well in taking great potraits as well as landscape shots with us in the foreground.
I don't like being in the pictures because ......unless my friends pushed me to jump in before the shutter goes 'click'. I am more comfortable being behind the camera. I think my friends all paiseh that I have to be the unofficial photo snapper. I'm fine with that.....
no cause i ugly...... =)
