don't know if anyone else has this problem
the AF cannot focus to infinity, and i have to manually adjust it to focus to get the focus lock when the lens is at the wide end (say 12-13mm) it works fine when focusing less than infinity, and can focus at other focal lengths with no problems.... guess i have to make a trip down to high street. |

no problems with focusing 14mm and above.
i think the motor is unable to move the lens to focus - i have to manually turn the focus range to infinity and the camera will achieve AF lock. |

Which camera and AF settings do you use? If you use the E-3, are you using Auto AF? With the 11 focus points it can be so that at the wide focal length the camera finds something much nearer than at infinity. I guess this can happen even if you use the other bodies as well, even if they don't have the AF points spread out as much as the E-3. I sugget you set fixed, single center AF point Sensitivity = Small if you have the E-3 and aim at something large very far and test again.
