Had some fun over the weekend after a long hiatus from shooting. It was very tiring trying to find suitable high vantage points, so a couple of the shots weren't very well executed.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
Well, I am quite intrigued by the name Scheimpflug lah. I have no idea how it's supposed to sound actually. Spleen-fuge? scheme-fug? as clean and distinct. In terms of ease of use and effort, a tilt-shift lens is still the most convenient way to achieve the effect. |

a t/s lens is simple cos you just tilt all the way the opposite of getting a full sharp pic (its original intention) and you can focus to see where you want the focus to be. its best to use with a FF body as the bokeh gets even wider.

Very nicely done. Nice choice of scene. But the last one did not have very strong feel of miniature.....may be the entire balloon should be sharp, because if its really a small model, it should be on the same DOF plane....just my tot, hope you don't mind.
