Default Danau Toba

Had a short break at Lake Toba last month over the Vesak Day weekend. Excellent place for relaxation and of course, some photography.
Used to be very popular, and some of the senior folks may remember its heyday, hehe

I was lucky that the only full day I had there was a beautiful day!

Village life, and the distinct architecture of the local people in Lake Toba, the Bataks.

Of course, the tourist resorts gotta utilise these unique architecture...

Morning life...

Lovely sunset shots and the kiddie candids are great too.

This one is my fav of the series too with the kid playing with the bicycle wheel a close second. I would have chose that one if not for the stick in the background. Excellent series.

Thanks pat33,
yeah, that stick is poking out of his head
but hey, thanks for the comments and I do have other friends who prefer that boy-playing-with-wheel shot too!!

Not difficult lah; Find the cheapest flight to Medan, take a mini-van/taxi/bus to Parapat, and you're there

Thats a great shot. Should not be too much trouble cloning away the stick. Would be great if you can repost the cloned shot. Looking forward to it.
