I am sure there are a lot of you who have this to ask.
Pros of A300 Cheaper by $200 3fps ? less noise because of lesser pixels Pros of A350 higher pixel count Any one with comments? I am going to take the plunge very soon to join you guys. No offence to anyone owning either cam. Just want your opinions. No flame wars here... How to choose? |

think of it as $200 saved to go to piggy bank to pay for your lenses.

Always remember: within a series, the bigger the model number, the better it is.
That's the logic I live by anyway. Maybe this thread will help?

DPreview just reviewed the A350, and compared it to the A200, which uses a sensor similar to the A300. The conclusion was that thre is a *little* bit of a noticeable resolution benefit for the A350.
But if that's worth $200 to you is another matter.

The A350 has resolutions 14MP, 7MP etc... What resolutions can the A200/300 shoot at? 10.2MP... What is the next lower resolution setting? |

I've finally bought the A300 two weeks ago, so far happy using the camera. As this is my first DSLR camera i'm still getting use to it and exploring all the Fn.
I believe by the time i am really efficient in using this camera, it will be time i'll be upgrading to a higher end one (eg A900 ).This are my pre purchase analysis for the camera. I am not into printing so higher mp is not a concern for me. Hope my point help you somehow on buying your DSLR. ![]() One last thing don't forget to ask me out for photo shoot when you got your camera huh.... |

Canon's L Lens are not waterproof, but more like weather sealed. And is for those newer L Lens only.

The newer L glass is weather-sealed. G and Zeiss lenses aren't weather sealed, but the do well even when they get fully drenched. Found that out the hard way. ![]()

lol, i got my A100 and my CZ16-80mm quite badly soaked while shooting once. but nothing seemed to have suffered!
its just that every one of my photo has got a few raindrops on them :b damn i wish someone invented some anti-water that'll shake the droplets off the lens surface ![]()
