Sellers of new D300 out in force

Recently I noticed quite a number of relatively new D300 sold at $22++. -some with 11 months warranty. Anyone know why? Thanks for your sharing.(I am montoring the prices to buy.)

the oversea price of D300 is $22** only. I think this can be one reason.

Could be a couple of reasons like too advance, heavy, jumping ship, decided to downgrade to smaller body, no $$ etc etc... Price had drop quite abit from the initial $2700, so it's a good time to get one.

Being a D300 user myself, I can assure you there's no issue with the quality or performance of the cameras.

THey're probably selling cause most of them were amateurs keen to jump to the latest without counting the cost....they probably found no use for the extra performance/specs unless they're very serious amateurs of professionals who do it for a living.

They're probably selling for financial/hobby reasons, not a problem with the camera.

They are important people, and the more the better for the rest of us. How else can we benefit from getting relatively mint condition items at good prices

Not sure why others are selling... but here is my reason for selling

I just sold my D300... and yes... it is a wonderful camera... feature rich which I dont use...
Bought it for trying out the camera to compare with my Canon 40D...and it seems at my level of usage...
D300 is too much...

D300 100% Viewfinder is superb! no guessing needed....and superb focusing is a WOW...

Prices always comes down from time to time...its a forever-waiting game... today price is always more expensive than the future day... but then... if u din have it now... you might just miss the moment of time...

I upgraded from a D70 to a D300. I would say it was a huge difference. The learning curve was so big I once thought of selling my D300.
However, with many read up and trial & error, I seems to be able to tame it a little. Still learning though.

I encountered the battery problem only with 3rd party battery (got from MS color), got it replaced once but still facing the same problem although a lot lesser. Never encountered any other much technical issues.

I am considering switching to Canon class mainly due to many of my friends using Canon... but I have yet found a D300 equivalent... which is holding be back...

Overall, its an awesome machine where the limit lies on the man behind it

amateur me bought mine few months back, no problem at all and enjoyed the cam. those selling may probably think it’s too advance for them or packed with features that not required for their usage, maybe?
