They do not ship overseas, I don't even think they accept overseas credit cards if the transaction is not in person.

just look for Mr Ono at Map Camera, he speaks very good English and some French too, very good service, I would say better than Lemon Sha. I was there two days ago.:-) They have many nice stuffs. Map Camera would be very difficult to locate, have to ask around for directions. The one with the Leica stuffs are at the No 1 outlet. They have two different outlets on the same street.

Yes but difficult unless you read or speak Japanese. They do not accept order through email. You have to go website to register first-scary part is that there is no provision for oversea address as some of the compulsary field, I think city or district you are only given a list to choose from & can't manually fill in. You must also fill in your name in English as well as Katakana? A pain! You must confirm order with postage rate for Japan & fill in your actually mailing address in an are for further instructions.....Then, they will write to you to tell you new postage rate, which you must confirm again within a certain time frame. You missed it, you have to start all over....You get what I mean, not impossible but difficult. My first attempt failed, they re-listed the item. Tried second time, with a friend who read & write sitting beside me-on top of that must call them to clarify...A pain..but got what I ordered. You get the idea..Not impossible.

The lift up? The Leica/rangefinder, Medium Format shop is at the basement, you need to use the staircase beside the lift lobby to go down. Yes i agree, very good service, spent lesser than at Lemon Sha at Ginza and get better service, should have done so the other way round.

Woah! I get the idea. Was thinking of sitting next to a Japanese translator to do the ordering. Better buy in person .

What about 2nd hand Leica/Zeiss etc items ? Is Map Camera the only one there or is it like Carnavorn Road in HK where there are many 2nd hand dealers offering serious eye candy ?

Not sure about HK, only been to Photo Arsenal in HK. But I would say, not only Map camera has many eye candies as Lemon Sha at Ginza in Tokyo. Yeh saw many CZ lenses there as well. They even stock new CZ lenses and the Zeiss Ikon RF cameras. Rolleiflex plenty there too;-)

I dunno, I think Lemon Sha stuffs are more on the pricey side as it's in the Ginza area... But the stuffs at Lemon Sha is a lot better condition. They have about 10 Nocts there, while Map Camera has two. Hurry up, those who want the Nocts..... For purchasing of Fogg bags, only Lemon Sha at Ginza has them, all sizes, all models and colours.
