    Default Bounce card attachment

Just a poll to see how CS people affix on their bounce card, currently cannot decide how to affix a big rectangular bounce card to my speedlight.

    Suggestions?

Velcro, rubberband, hairband, double-sided tape, scrotch tape?

    Personally I use velcro

Secure using one or two "small Army rubber band" ...those used in the army days for secureing waterbottle and issued item.

This will allow you to slip it in and out easily....For the card board
you can even use the back page of a foolscap paper and then stick the front with a white printing paper or photopaper....

    That should do the job!!!!!!

Okie, seems to me a lot of people are using rubber bands, think I'll give it a try and see how, I don't really want to stick velcro strips on my flash

You dont have to stick velcro onto the flash - you can get those velcro bands that can wrap around it.

I don't know how much it'll cost, I'm going down later to see if I can find any at Tampines and then I'll let you know.

You should be able to get them at those DIY stores.

If you can't get velcro bands and dunwanna stick velcro strips directly on the flash, wrap some gaffers on it first.

    Hi willyfoo,

department stores with haberdashery/sewing section will carry velcro without adhesive backing - some hardware stores also - recall Spotlight had rolls of the stuff in black or white in widths up to 2" - can attach these to the card so don't have to stick onto the flash

    cheers

Willy, you should be able to find those velcro bands at popular book stores (I know someone who got his there).

I got mine from that big $2 japanese store at IMM. They have a few different length that you can choose from. I am using those to hold my flash extender and the results are pretty good
