using right eye.. somehow with my left eye on viewfinder, I found my nose pressing against the camera body.. so decided to use right eye...
Sometimes I wonder if using right or left eye makes any difference to the pictures or the perspective.. I guess both of our eyes view the same thing in a similar way... Any life-sciences/medical experts around? |

Personally I find that using left would be better. Because after shooting with right eye and trying hard to close my left eye for abt 10min. My vision start to became blur when i opening both my eye. I thinks it is because of the strain i applied to left eye during shooting that caused this blur blur look.

Just use your dominant eye.
Which one? Try this easy test with both eyes open, use your index finger to point at a subject, now try to close one of your eyes... you will see the subject has moved on your NON dominant one, and vice versa.

Use dominant eye, then don't even have to close the other.
Not so tiring. For M16, right eye, right master hand (No need to use dominant eye.) My Case is left eye dominant, but M16, use right eye loh. |

IMHO, cameras are designed for right handed people. Shutter on the right hand side, left hand to support. If you think about it, using the left eye to view, will place your nose right against your right thumb (less you like to pick and shoot at the same time
, i find this quite uncomfortable.)So i've learnt to adapt by using my right eye and right hand, despite being left handed. |
