Default 2Qs: Nissin flash Q and Metz 54MZ3 Q

Hi all,

2Qs.

First.... does the 54MZ-3 have an interchangeable shoe system? I was looking at an ad in American Photo for this flash and it claims "yes". If it does, this could be one swinging factor for me against the 550EX.

secondly... does anyone know which shops in singapore still carry old-stock of parts/accesories for the Nissin flash?

I'm looking for these items for my 5000GW hammerhead:

1. Spare battery clip
2. Canon EOS ETTL shoe
3. Nikon TTL shoe.

To answer your first question, yes, they have an interchangeable shoe system according to your cam that you are using. Check out Metz's website for the specification.

As for question 2, I never used the Nissan flash b4, but saw a unit still being sold over at Best Denki in Marina Square just 2 days ago.

The 54mz-3 is getting more popular over the 550EX, for its cheaper price, stronger build and multiple flash modes (A, ETTL, ETTL HS)
