Are there any shops in SG that sell a 3rd-part D40 battery grip? I don't really want to buy from eBay or Amazon..
Thanks! |

So far I haven seen any locally...I don think Spore has also...
My Grip for my D40X is found and bought by a fren from Hong Kong...He actually searched for me in Japan and San Francisco without luck until he tried Hong Kong..Cost about Sing$150/-.. The Hong Kong shop ppl actually told him that such stuff can be found more easily in HK or China since alot of 3rd party makers are from China.. QUite handy I feel..Better gripping.. ![]() |

When I use telephoto lenses, the D40 becomes too front heavy. I need the grip to help me balance.

You can try to use a longer quick release plate so to shift the lens on the tripod in order to balance it.
