I have only tested the flash and have not used it for any specific purpose. Wanted to buy the single pin adapter to use in M and A modes on my other cameras, but seems like it is not readlily available.

As mention is a NIKON 3402 M2, even that not all latest nikon camera are able to use the flash.

Yep, that is correct. If you want a flash that you can use across brands and between film and digital, this will be a good flash. It can be used on Minolta as well, but you will need to find out which adpater is required and if the flash limits your camera's iTTL system. If love Auto and Manual modes on Nikon cameras, even this flash amd adapter is sufficient.

This flash may support Nikon iTTL with the latest SCA Nikon adaptor.
