    Default Buying Lens on Ebay.

    Issue: Purchasing Lenses on Ebay

    Has anyone done this?
Is it advisable to do so?
    If yes, any recommended sellers?
    Thanks

Done it a couple of times, so far so good. Advise is to buy from sellers with a lot of good ratings.

So far my lenses are all cheap lenses so no GST or tax imposed and as they are used lens so no warranty, but usually, the good sellers will indicate a clause on the return policy.

warranty... haha... rite. it is at your own risk despite their promise of warranty becos YOU have to spend the money to send it back to them.

Matsuiyastore reliable, delivered within 4 days. with international warranty for new items. BH Photo too , if you buy items with international warranty they are good. I have bought from both and found them reliable without encountering any problems. I paid with PAYPAL.

tried a few times... so far no problem... buy from reputable source, best from stores with good ratings. make sure you know how much you are paying for the shipping cost as well...

nowadays since the US dollars dropping, u can find E-bay stuffs are relatively cheaper even with the shipping cost. Of course warranty issue and fraud is always there when it comes to E-bay stuffs, for me i bought my Olympus E-510 with one lens kit camera thru E-bay auctions first hand, which i think is the cheapest price i can get even compare with singapore price... ... S$770! Lastly my recommend E-bay powerful seller will be cametaauctions, auctions sometime is fun and addictive hahahahaha.
