Life Line by Lim Su Fan  Please join us for a tea reception on Saturday 31st May, 4pm. The photographer will be present to share more about her works. 2902 Gallery, OLD SCHOOL 11b Mount Sophia Road, Block B, #B2-09 Life Line 28 May – 15 June 2008 2902: Space 1.4 In her first solo exhibition Life Line, Lim Su Fan explores the existence of ordinary subject – power cables in urban landscape. Her long term ongoing project on power cables opposes the common perception of danger and ugliness, and instead giving it a it a lyrical aesthetic. While power cable has a pragmatic purpose by intruding across the sky to bring life to unfathomed area, these endless lines are liken to lines on musical scores waiting for notes to produce melody of life. About Lim Su fan Started during her Junior College education, Su Fan joined the small photographic club of 6 members and a small darkroom. Being bitten deeply by shutterbug, this love affair stood the test of 20 years and became a constant quest in her life to make images as an expression to life. 2902 Gallery: The Appreciation of Arts through a View Finder 2902 Gallery is a space dedicated to photography works by local & oversea artists. It consists of 3 galleries of over 3,000sq ft and as well as a workshop room for photography courses.
