Anybody using HDR soft?
I'm find the colour very natural. I'm looking into the result achieved using a gradualted ND filter. Any idea if this can be done in HDR soft? Unnatural result from HDR soft: ![]() |

Heh! I went to the spot, 3 days in last week, to shoot eactly what your are trying
I think it will be unnatural, in general, but should be more natural than the one you posted. I am trying HDR for a month or so now, after seeing some postings here. I think some skills, and experience in the software is required, and the condition must also be conducive - my opinon only. I have also try GND - the 2 stop one - at this location - I failed! - but I think it is possible for the experienced shooter. I will be there again this friday - if you game - let meet there 6:30. Me, like you, "buay kuek yan"! |

To me HDR is "not-so natural" processing, you may want to take a look at some HDRs to understand what others is trying to acheive.

You can make HDR's look very natural, its just how you process it. Dont regret it, just try and work with it.

Usually Photomatix will make some colour shift and saturation.
