Artistic portrait. But probably you may want to crop tighter: cut the upper portion of the window, it is too big in size and meaningless.

the first picture pulls your eyes to the environment, and definitely emphasizes atmosphere, while the croped one focuses on the feeling/emotion of the person..

Bottomline, GREAT!!! 2 great ways of presenting a single piece of art...I like this type of presenting black & white...

Beautifully done, the contrast works for me. Prefer the uncropped one though.

I like lormantic things too but somehow I find the soft filter effect doesn't work for black & white pictures which I think should be sharp and contrast to have a good visual impact. Anyway, I guess it is just my personal preference.
