Just wondering, how much magnification does the 250D lens provide for a canon g2? and roughly how much is the current market price for it?

Its maginification is equivalent to a +4. Cost is around $130-150.

A +4 close up lens, allowing you to focus with full zoom at a shorter distance from the subject instead of the usual 1m distance.
