Very nice artistic shot. I would suggest a bit of a touch up to make the subject stand out.

Another way of making the subject stand out, apart from touching up, is to establish eye contact.

See how the subject stands out, now that there is eye contact?

Subtle, but effective. No touchup done.

Seriously, though, I think rty did a great job with the burning and dodging. It really brought this picture alive.
