hmmm... white background doesn't seem to work here.. i'm distracted from the lens (which seems to be not placed in an aesthetically sound position as well.. looks kinda weird)..
perhaps you might want to consider a black background and play with some side lighting or something? |

I don't have a problem with the background or center framing. But the lack of details makes the lens looked like it is being squashed againsts a glass panel.

I like the contrast of the black lens on white background. But since it is centre framed, should go for symmetry... ie. drop the tripod collar, a tighter crop top - lens hood cropped off a little from the top. Jus my 2 cents.
