Unzip the file, copy 10DV101.fir into a formatted CF, pop it right in and follow the menu-type instructions.
Details can be found in the text file. |

a small little gesture from Canon to make our pounding hearts pound a little less and be more worryful about seemingly having bought a expensive buggy camera. |

I think its better to be patient and see how this firmware improves on the version 1.0.0 first ...since its official release is only tomorrow...

from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1
from my experience....there shouldn't be much changes anyway, this link can't be found in Canon Japan, SG or US site...so anyone want to try? I have tried and everything seems ok to me ![]() |

Also just realized that all my new shots have become award winning ones, can handhold for more than a minute without getting a blur shot (say goodbye to IS), can fire off 30 fps ... hang on, it's turned my 10D into a DVC!

Larry Mowry, at a thread in FredMiranda's forums, commented on some changes he observed on his 10D after the upgrade. Some others also commented.
He (or someone) mentioned 1. ISO 400 and 800 less noise. 2. More accurate exposure. The link: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/36822 |

For me, I am waiting to see the opinions of others first before I upgrade my firmware.
Just want to be on the safe side. |
