Camera position in Backpack?

Hi, just got a computrekker AW backpack. May I know which is the correct way to put the camera with lens attached? Actually wanted to put my camera like the way the lowepro website shows, however, my lens is not a tele lens, and thus not long enough.

Hence if I were to put the camera at the top part with lens attached, The Lens will not even touch the base of the bag. May I know did anyone faced the same problem as me?
