Default How to post a pic on clubsnap

Yesterday, I posted a similar message under Critique Corner but it seems to have disappeared into a big hole. Anyway, I hope this is the correct forum to re-post it.

As I am new to clubsnap, I enjoy viewing the photos taken by fellow members and I have thought of posting some of my photos for general viewing too. However, when I clicked on the insert image icon, it tells me to type in the URL link. Does this mean that I have to store my photos into a public sharing site such as flickr and then link it to clubsnap thread? If so, what other photo-sharing websites are available?

Please excuse my questions as I am a newbie in digital photography and am not great at IT.

    Cheers

It took me ages to work it out and I don't think the stickies are very clear (although I haven't checked them out since I joined 3 years ago).

It's better if you upload onto flickr or photobucket.

In flickr click on 'all sizes' and copy the second ULR line.

Return to your clubsnap page, look at the tool bar at the top of your post, then click the yellow box with a mountain on it.

paste the line and click ok.

    Viola you are done.

Thanks Manda. I did manage to post three pictures after reading the guidelines referred to by moderator Ortega. Next time I will try flickr. Have a good day!
