my super cute nephew
photo taken during my nephew's 1 month old baby shower.

Hm...it looks underexposed and I feel that it is tight. I think you can go for a looser framing so as not to cut off the top of his head.

to me,
expressionless underexposed background is even more distracting than the shadow cropping nor here nor there. |

too dark .. u using too high an f# ... open up maybe f2.8 ... also colour balance ... do a custom WB
