Hi, i 'm very blurr when comes too tripod,
anyway i'm looking to buy a tripod but still no idea on which brand or which type, and also what about the head? three way , ball head, quick release , etc ? Actually i already have a tripod , it's Velbon CX 480, but i feel it's not sturdy enough and attaching the camera to it via the quick release is not that nice as the quick rekease is not tight enough to fit to the camera. my gear is as my signature and also Canon 70-200 f4L IS, can anyone recoommend me good and not so expensive combination of tripod and head ? for all around shooting and possibly some macro too ? thank you very much.

If you're on a budget of S$120, check out http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=377544 Jack006 Benro mass-order. All proceeds go to Red Cross Society.
However, if your budget can be stretched a little, something like a Manfrotto 190XPro + 486rc2 head will do you well. That one's selling at about S$280 - 300.

If you got the budget, a good carbon fibre setup can cut down your traveling weight
