It is an trial and error thing. It depend on how much your stuff. If too high % turn it up and wait for a few hours. If too low % turn it down. When it start to stablise, open the door and close it back to see if it still return to the level.

I only managed to get mine stabilised at 46% (just above the 9 o'clock position) after 3 days of trial and error..... but then again, it's empty. So I guess when I moved my equipments in, the RH will change again.

Turning towards green zone increases humidity.
Mine is at 10 o'clock position, giving me 49-50% with my gears inside Cheers Christophe |

RH level is dependent on the outside air humidity around your digicabi, the rate of dehumidifying and lastly the amount of items that is in the digicabi...
the stronger the green LED is, the stronger the dehumidifying will be. you need to create a balance between the outside air humidity and the rate of dehumidifying in order to attain a stable RH reading. Hope that's easy to understand? haa... anyway... i intend to do up an illustration on this when i've got the time... for new users of the digicabi DB series. ![]() Cheers. |
