![]() With the annoucement of the ZD 9-18 f4-5.6 standard grade UWA, that leaves only the 100 macro to be annouced. What's next? It seems that oly has pretty much covered wide to supertelephoto range in all 3 grades of ZD lenses. Will there be more surprises like the pancake? What would you as a 4/3 user like to see on the roadmap?

A tilt-shift lens might be nice (although it wouldn't be cheap)...that was available for OM, although Zuiko only had a shift lens for OM:

Already both Canon and Nikon has a 24mm / F3.5, given the small sensor size of the 4/3 system a 12mm / F2.8 is the minimum, maybe even 12mm / F2.4. If it ever comes out, I will use probably use one body exclusively on this len, which will be my main lens. After that they might be shifting their focus on their body and update certain lens like 35-100 with SWD. |

totally agree, more pancake lens for portability and not carry so many heavy stuffs and also can attract more people into DSLR (most people got inferior when they see DSLR camera & lens that are so big and bulky, as if it is something that are out of reach)

f1.4 lens with near telecentricity lens design will be nothing like a pancake....the front element will be huge...maybe more like stacked pratas...

I guess Olympus will not come out with a TS len anytime soon. Maybe it is an excuse for me to get into medium / large format.

I think a combination of 12-60 and 50-200 will be good...

That would be huge or really bad optically or both.

maybe a f3.5-5.6 sounds more reasonable. Hope Olympus can clone the 14-150 just without the IS to keep cost down.

How about re-labeling the 14-54 into SG and pricing it as per SG ..
![]() I mean it does look a little redundant in the HG group now that there is the 12-60 ...... ![]() |

I think olympus should do a 400mm (800mm) prime F5.6 would make people jaw drop! i'd love more pancakes too! of course more fast (f1.2-2) primes. Looking at the road map, i think the 100mm macro would probably be a f2.8 SWD.
